The Faculty of Law and Political Science at Aix-Marseille University has a history dating back several centuries to 1409 and welcomes more than 10,000 students each year at its three sites (Aix-en-Provence, Marseille and Arles). However, it has demonstrated a certain modernity by bringing together all the members of the faculty around a bold project in training, research, development, innovation and influence.

The faculty intends to implement a responsible and optimistic policy, clearly defined and resolutely turned towards the students. All decisions, whether they are pedagogical, scientific, in terms of human resources, assets or finances, must be guided by the success and professional integration of students.

Emphasis is placed on a training offer that is clear and promising for its graduates. The professional success of students must become the faculty's priority objective. In particular, it is necessary to develop pedagogical innovations, the use of digital technology, as well as distance learning, to strengthen apprenticeship training, which is conducive to successful professional integration, and to develop the range of courses by being attentive to the needs of the legal, judicial and socio-economic world.

In terms of research, the Faculty intends to perpetuate the reputation of its centres and laboratories, which are highly rated by national and international institutions.
